The flavor of fire – Max Alajmo

The 2024 special edition panettone. Dedicated to Sicily, where the Alajmo last name has its roots, this sweet, leavened bread made with extra virgin olive oil in place of butter making it particularly light and aromatic, as well as dairy free! It also contains candied bell peppers, candied chili pepper, dark chocolate and Tonka beans.

Better served warm!
Heat in a 80°C oven for 10 minutes to bring out the aromas.

All our leavened products are made by hand in our pastry lab, MammaRita, using a sourdough starter and are allowed to rise naturally at low temperature using two-phase leavening process. As a result, our panettoni are fully leavened and particularly aromatic. Our leavened breads don't contain any artificial colors, preservatives or hydrogenated fats.
