ALAJMO ABOARD CRYSTAL CRUISES

The Alajmo family is pleased to announce a new partnership with Crystal, a leading luxury cruise line, for the development of a new menu for Osteria d’Ovidio, the Italian dining venue aboard Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.

The project stems from the meeting between the culinary expertise of Massimiliano, Raffaele, and Giovanni Alajmo and Crystal’s commitment to offering an exceptional gastronomic experience at sea. Available starting in summer 2025, the new menu features three tasting itineraries, each offering a unique interpretation of Italian cuisine.

THREE PATHS, ONE VISION

The menu is structured into three distinct sections:

Italia – A selection of dishes inspired by traditional Italian cuisine, showcasing the regional diversity of the peninsula.

Le Calandre – A series of signature creations from the Alajmo family's three Michelin-starred flagship restaurant.

A Venezia – A refined reinterpretation of Venetian cuisine with a contemporary approach.

 

Signature dishes include:

Cappuccino di seppie al nero (Cuttlefish cappuccino with ink)

Risotto allo zafferano con polvere di liquirizia (Saffron risotto with licorice powder)

Carré d’agnello in crosta di erbe (Herb-crusted lamb chops)

Ravioli di burrata con frutti di mare (Burrata ravioli with seafood)

Spaghetti aglio, olio, peperoncino e Bloody Mary (Spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili and Bloody Mary)

Gran gelato al pistacchio (Homemade pistachio gelato)

"Our goal was to create a menu that reflects the identity of our cuisine while respecting the unique context in which it is served. The dining experience on board becomes an opportunity for discovery and sharing," said Massimiliano Alajmo.

Thanks to the collaboration with Abercrombie & Kent, Crystal guests will also have access to exclusive gastronomic experiences at select Alajmo Group restaurants:

Grancaffè & Ristorante Quadri (Venice)
