Light and comforting – Max Alajmo

Arlecchino is a sweet leavened bread that takes you on a journey through the scents and colors of Mediterranean citrus. Made with candied orange and citron, it belongs to our line of sweet leavened breads made with extra virgin olive oil in place of butter, allowing the citrus aromas to shine even more vividly.


Better served warm!
Heat in a 80°C oven for 10 minutes to bring out the aromas.

All our leavened products are made by hand in our pastry lab, MammaRita, using a sourdough starter and are allowed to rise naturally at low temperature using two-phase leavening process. As a result, our panettoni are fully leavened and particularly aromatic. Our leavened breads don't contain any artificial colors, preservatives or hydrogenated fats.

<p>Ingredients: Wheat flour type 00, cocoa butter and extra virgin olive oil preparation (18.2%) [cocoa butter, extra virgin olive oil, emulsifier: soy lecithin], egg yolk, water, granulated sugar, sourdough starter (water, wheat), sultana raisins [dried grapes, sunflower oil], candied orange (2.3%) [orange peel, glucose/fructose syrup, sugar], candied citron (2.3%) [citron peel, glucose and fructose syrup, sugar], acacia honey, invert sugar [acidity regulators: citric acid, sodium bicarbonate], salt, brewer's yeast.

Allergens: Contains allergens: cereals containing gluten and derived products, eggs and egg-based products, soy.

Average nutritional values per 100 g: Energy 1489 kJ / 356 kcal; Fat 20 g, of which saturated fat 6.5 g; Carbohydrates 38 g, of which sugars 17 g; Fibre 1.0 g; Protein 5.6 g; Salt 0.61 g.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store at room temperature and consume within 6 days.
